WELCOME to Astafjord - our home.

In Salangen in Troms, in the innermost arm of Astafjord we find Sagfjord with it's small "town" Sjøvegan. On the hillside above stands Bjerkeseth Villa, made for recreation and well-being, run by the owners who live in the idyllic hamlet Lavangsnes. Lavangsnes is situated on the southern coast of Astafjord, on a moraine from the last iceage. 

In Astafjord you are surrounded by nature everywhere. Shoreline, garden, forest and mountain. Islands and fjords. Birds and fish. Catch guaranteed. Midnight sun in summer, northern lights in winter. Fine weather and wild storms. Experiences for all the senses. Here is the atmosphere of the countryside, where you may rest in the beauty of nature, enjoy the silence and home cooking with local catch and produce from our own garden. All this to create a cosy atmosphere. 

It is simple to get to Salangen by car, by train or plane - see Facts-Info. We can assist with arranging transport between Bjerkeseth Villa and idyllic Lavangsnes - a perle of nature. The trip takes 30 min.
